The command line interface of SSF has the following capabilities:
CLI access is based on privileges.
Number of simultaneous CLI sessions for a single user to access the system can be
configured.
Support for HPI-B MIB for hardware platform management.
The following table provides command line editing features of SSF CLI:

1.3.3 XML Interface
SSF is a management layer framework to manage, operate, and configure the networked
devices. SSF comprises the following components:
SSF Agents - Provides an interface between the managed system and the external
management entities designed by the end user. SSF provides agents, such as XML agent
and CLI agent.
SSF Framework - Provides an insulation layer between the external management protocols
and the underlying managed entities, such as hardware and applications.
SSF Objects - Also called as Managed objects (MOs) are the entities in the system that can
be configured and managed using SSF. For example: shelf, slot, SRstackware and
ViewCheck.
Table 1-1 Command Line Editing Features
Keyboard keys Description
Left and Right arrow Allow you to move the cursor within the current command line
Up and Down arrow Allow you to browse through a command history
BACKSPACE Enables you to remove the character towards left
TAB Completes the keyword being entered automatically
“?” Provides you context help
<cr> Carriage return. System displays this command when you
provide all mandatory arguments of a particular CLI command.
It represents the command syntax completion.
